My Manager

I’m thankful that I have a case manager now! Whatever that is!

She’s here to help me get what I need. Well, let’s see; I got the bath bench with my ex’s money, got the potty chair with DH’s money…. To be fair, she didn’t even know I existed then. So, there’s that.

She’s supposed to help me get into a rehab home, as far as I can make out.

Tonya, my counselor, told me my homework was #1. Find a rehab that has a Medicare bed open. An #2. Call Senior Connections, so that they can move me up the priority list from 3, which I was pre-fall. And #3, I can’t remember.

Well, sweet DD1 did #1 for me! YAY!! I love that girl!

So, since this is Sat. I will call #2, on Monday. Then on Tue, ask Tonya ask what was #3!!

Today’s blessings;

1. I have a case manager now.
2. I have a bath bench now! I can take showers like a big girl!
3. I have an ex, Sweet Friend, who helps me out whenever I really need something!!
4. I can go potty by myself like a big girl now too!!
5. I have a DH who loves, and gives me what I need.
6. I have my counselor that I love, and loves me! And we pray for each other!
7. I had enough memory left to remember 2/3rds of my homework!
8. I have a sweet, kind, thoughtful, daughter! Enough with the compliments, before she gets the big head!! That found the #1 thing on the list for me!!
9. It took a minute, but I was able to get out of bed!!
10. I even have the presence of mind to type!
11. DH is bringing us McDonald’s! How could a morning start any better!!
